Dr. Giulia Parola

Originally from Italy, Dr. Giulia Parola has built an international profile through academic and professional experiences in Spain, Morocco, and India. Based in Germany since 2014, she holds a Master’s in Life Science Economics and Policy from the Technical University of Munich and a Doctorate in Economic and Social Sciences from the Bundeswehr University Munich, where her research explored how to bridge the science–practice gap.
At MUDT, she teaches Scientific Working, a course connecting scientific thinking with practical examples and exploring how different ways of knowing shape research, design, and professional practice. Dr. Parola is also Interim Professor for Entrepreneurship at Munich Business School and a postdoctoral researcher at the Bundeswehr University Munich. Beyond academia, she works as an expert, trainer, and project lead on EU-funded initiatives in social entrepreneurship, workplace wellbeing, and family business development.
