Position Overview
We are seeking a structured, experienced, and service-oriented Admission Manager to manage and coordinate the admissions process for our Bachelor and Master programs.
The role covers the full applicant journey from application review to final enrollment and includes close cooperation with recruitment partners, academic leadership, and student services. The position can be structured as part-time or full-time depending on candidate availability and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the complete admissions lifecycle from application receipt through final enrollment
- Check eligibility requirements including transcripts, certificates, language proof, and formal entry qualifications
- Prepare and issue admission decisions, conditional offers, and official admission documents
- Coordinate and schedule applicant interviews with academic staff and record outcomes
- Serve as a main contact person for applicants and parents during the admissions process
- Respond to inquiries and guide admitted students through next enrollment steps
- Prepare reports on application numbers, trends, and enrollment statistics
- Identify and support improvements in admissions workflows and quality standards
- Collaborate closely with Recruitment, Marketing, Academic Departments, and Student Services
- Support recruitment activities such as open days, admission sessions, and selected recruitment events when required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in university admissions or higher-education administration in Germany.
- Strong understanding of international qualifications and admissions evaluation according to Anabin regulations.
- Experience with digital admissions systems / CRM platforms
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced in English and German
