Greetings, future digital pioneers!

Here at Munich University of Digital Technologies, we’re all about turning big dreams into bigger realities. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about our application and admissions process.

Don't worry, it’s easier than figuring out the WiFi password at a café.

Application Steps:

Submit Your Application:

Create an account, select your study program, and upload the required documents. We’ll confirm once everything is submitted.

Pass the Interview:

If your documents are approved, you’ll be invited to an online interview. Succeed, and you’ll receive a conditional acceptance.

Sign and Pay:

Return the signed study contract and complete the enrollment fee and deposit to secure your spot.

Congratulations, you’re in!

Admission Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

  • High School diploma (e.g. Abitur, Matura, IB, A-Level, or another internationally accepted qualification).
  • Want to make sure your diploma fits the bill? Check it out here:

German
  • ID or Passport —we like to know who we’re working with!
  • English Language Proficiency—CEFR level B2 or above. Trust us, you’ll want to understand the memes we share.

 

Additional Documents

  • Letter of Motivation (tell us why you want in)
  • CV (show us what you’re made of).
  • Scholarship Application Letter (if needed).
  • APS Certification—if you’re from China, India, or Vietnam.

English Language Requirements

To thrive at MUDT, English proficiency is key. Here’s what we accept:

  • IELTS: 6
  • TOEFL iBT: 72
  • TOEFL ITP: 543
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic): 59
  • Cambridge English: 160
  • TOEIC: Listening/Reading: 785, Speaking: 160, Writing: 150
  • Duolingo 100
  • For the Pre-Bachelor program at least B1 is required

No English Certificate?
No Problem if:

You’re a native English speaker.

 

You’re from a majority English-speaking country.

 

You’ve got a degree that was taught in English.

We’re not just about books and screens; we want to know you.
Our interviews give us a chance to see who you are beyond those shiny qualifications.

Interview Structure:

WHO CONDUCTS IT?

Our deans. (Hint: They’re cool people.)

HOW LONG?

30-40 minutes. Long enough to know each other, short enough to keep it fun.

WHEN?

After cheking your documents, if all is fine, the admission office will invite you.

 

WHAT’S IN IT?

Motivation Chat — let’s talk about your dreams and why MUDT fits in them.

Short Presentation — we’ll give you a topic beforehand. Don’t worry, it’s not rocket science (unless you’re into that).

Personal Questions — ask away! Whether it’s about life on campus or where to find the best coffee in Munich, we’re all ears.
