Prof. Dr. Sabine Rathmayer
Acting Rector
Prof. Dr. Sabine Rathmayer is Acting Rector of MUDT and Professor of Computer Science with extensive experience in academic leadership, programme development, digital transformation, and Cyber Security.
She studied Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where she received her diploma and later earned her doctorate in Computer Science. Her academic career combines teaching and research with many years of leadership experience in higher education.
Before joining MUDT, she served as Professor of Business Informatics at HDBW Munich and led degree programmes in Business Informatics and Cyber Security. She has extensive experience in curriculum development, accreditation, quality assurance, industry cooperation, and research projects, including the AI-based cyber risk assessment project KIARA.
Her academic and professional interests include digital transformation, artificial intelligence, Cyber Security, software technologies, and innovative approaches to higher education. As Acting Rector, she leads MUDT’s academic development with a strong focus on quality, innovation, practical relevance, and close cooperation with industry.
