MUDT Data Science & AI Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs Accredited

Munich, October 2026 – Munich University of Digital Technologies & Applied Sciences (MUDT) is pleased to announce the accreditation of both its Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) and Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

The German Accreditation Council (Akkreditierungsrat) has issued accreditation decisions for both programs for the period from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2034, subject to specified conditions. This important milestone further strengthens MUDT’s academic portfolio in one of the most dynamic areas of digital technology and supports the university’s commitment to providing high-quality, application-oriented education in Germany.

Bachelor of Engineering in Data Science & AI

The B.Eng. in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence provides students with a strong foundation in data science, artificial intelligence, software technologies, mathematics, and practical applications. Students develop the skills required to analyze complex datasets, build machine learning models, and create intelligent, data-driven solutions for real-world challenges.

Master of Engineering in Data Science & AI

The M.Eng. in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence builds on this foundation at an advanced level, combining theoretical knowledge with applied learning in areas including machine learning, data engineering, ethical AI, computer vision, large language models, and generative AI. The program is designed to prepare graduates for advanced professional and research-oriented roles in the rapidly evolving fields of data science and artificial intelligence.

Strengthening Data Science & AI at MUDT

The accreditation of both programs represents an important step in the continued development of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at MUDT. Through its Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, MUDT aims to create a coherent academic pathway for students who want to develop expertise in data-driven technologies and contribute to the responsible development and application of artificial intelligence. Both programs are offered at the MUDT Siemens Neuperlach Campus in Munich.
