The Cyber Security (B.Eng.) program offers an in-depth specialization phase during the final four semesters. This allows students to develop advanced expertise in critical areas of cybersecurity, tailored to current industry needs and trends. Threat Intelligence Analysis

The Threat Intelligence Analysis specialization trains students to proactively identify and mitigate cyber threats by leveraging intelligence-driven insights. You will learn how to collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to anticipate and respond to emerging threats. Through coursework in malware analysis, threat hunting, and cyber threat intelligence platforms, you’ll develop the analytical skills needed to stay ahead of adversaries. Information Systems Security

In the Information Systems Security specialization, students focus on securing the core components of information technology infrastructure. In the job area of cyber security consulting, graduates are equipped with knowledge as well as professional and social skills to analyze the security maturity of systems and processes through questionnaires, security tests and security audits. Students are capable of working independently with system owners to evaluate the security risks and provide recommendations based on risks identified. Graduates are also able to decide on the needs-based use of technology or process for the safeguarding of IT systems.

In the job area of cyber security operations, graduates know methods of preventing, detecting and analyzing cyber security incidents, can apply them and adapt them for a specific business need.

In the job area of cyber security management, graduates are equipped with basic knowledge on risk management concepts and best-practices, information security management principles and best-practices, and industry standards for information security management, security assessment, security evaluation. Additionally, basic knowledge on IT Service management concepts and principles and information security legal and regulatory frameworks are gained by the graduates.
